With over 26 years of experience in education, I bring a deep commitment to student success, ethical leadership, and community engagement. My career includes 11 years in educational leadership, where I have worked collaboratively with educators, families, and community partners to support high-quality learning environments.
I have served on the Fayette County High School Principal’s Advisory Council and the HOSA Advisory Board, contributing strategic insight and advocacy for student development and career readiness. My previous service as PTSO President reflects my longstanding dedication to family and community involvement in education.
Beyond the school system, I am an active civic leader as a member of the City of Fayetteville Ethics Committee and a Post Seat Holder for the Fayette County Democrats. Across all roles, I am guided by a strong belief in integrity, transparency, and service-driven leadership.

Ensuring that every child in Georgia begins their education on solid ground through universal access to preschool education. Early investment in learning creates lifelong success especially when every child, regardless of zip code, has the same start.
Restoring Trust & Supporting Educators
Reducing over reliance on standardized tests and replacing it with professional respect and smart assessment practices. Teachers deserve trust, support, and training that helps them focus on real learning not just test preparation. I also want to prioritize mental health and wellness for students and educators with statewide standards for funding and support.
Strengthening Rural Georgia & Student Support Networks
Expanding connectivity and access to advanced coursework for rural communities, ensuring opportunity reaches every corner of Georgia. Strengthening partnerships with social services, DFACS, and school resource officers to address whole child needs keeping students connected, supported, and safe.
